PAS Capital LLC ("we," "us," "our") operates the Echo mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Echo.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender.

Voice Recordings

Echo records your voice during onboarding and daily check-ins. Voice audio is sent to our transcription provider (Deepgram) for conversion to text. Audio files are stored temporarily for processing and are not retained permanently.

Transcripts and Messages

Text transcripts of your voice recordings and any typed messages are stored in our database to provide you with the Echo service.

Memories

Echo uses AI to extract facts and details from your conversations (such as names, goals, preferences, and life events). These extracted memories are stored in your personal profile to personalize your experience.

Screenshots

If you share screenshots with Echo, they are processed by our AI provider to extract text content. The extracted text is stored; original images are stored temporarily.

Usage Data

We collect basic usage data such as check-in frequency, session duration, and feature usage to improve the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and personalize the Echo service, generate daily check-in questions based on your life context, create weekly life reports summarizing your check-in activity, enable you to search and query your personal history through Echo, process subscription payments through Apple, and improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns.

Third-Party Services

Google Gemini (AI)

Processes your messages to generate responses, extract memories, and create reports. Your conversation content is sent to Google's API for processing.

Deepgram (Voice Transcription)

Converts your voice recordings to text. Audio data is sent to Deepgram's servers for processing.

Supabase (Database and Authentication)

Stores your account information, messages, and memories. Hosted on AWS.

RevenueCat (Payments)

Manages subscription billing through Apple's App Store payment system.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers provided by Supabase (hosted on AWS in the United States). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transfers. While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Your Rights and Controls

You can view and delete individual memories through the Manage Memory screen in Settings. You can request deletion of your entire account and all associated data by contacting us at porterstanleyinvestments@gmail.com. Upon account deletion, all your messages, memories, voice transcripts, and personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be retained for analytics purposes.

Children's Privacy

Echo is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of Echo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
